I have a serious love-hate relationship with Paris. I studied abroad there in college and it was certainly the best of times and the worst of times. Blame it on la tres horrible host mother I lived with. Some days I feel incredibly nostalgic for my time in the City of Lights especially when I see something like this.
I want to get there ASAP. Since I won’t be able to anytime soon, maybe I’ll go see Midnight in Paris again or just buy some of these…
Print of Le Sacre Coeur, my favorite spot in Paris.
Watercolor of the famous Laduree macaroons.
Ahh to drink tea and snack on these again…
Manoush at 75 rue de Vieille du Temple
Print of Cafe Marly. I’m still dreaming of their morel risotto.
Wowza! Zara nails it over and over and over and over again. I first fell in love with Zara as an awkward middler schooler when I was visiting Mexico City. It used to be a shopping staple when visiting foreign countries because it was affordable and no one else had heard of it. Today the Spanish store is everywhere. Thank God!
My post-college financial independence has left me with a much lighter travel schedule (and by lighter I mean non-existant, vacations cost serious money), so Zara is my go to place to try tends that are too scary to commit $100 plus dollars. Cross-body Bag? Zara. Color blocking? Zara. Platforms that I’m entirely too tall to wear? Zara!
